FUTABUDA a Dunakanyarban

FUTABUDA in the Danube Bend is a self-funded, nonprofit running race taking place in Dunabogdány on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 10:00. The race offers two challenges: 6.1 km with 205 m of elevation gain and 14 km with 356 m of elevation gain. Runners receive a unique metal finisher’s medal, and top finishers are awarded prizes in age-group and overall categories. The race is part of the Ötpróba series but is independent of it, and registration allows for on-site changes. Places are limited to a maximum of 200 participants.

On-site registration is also available for an increased fee. The distance can still be changed before the start, but only participants who do not switch distances during the race will be included in the results. There is no time limit. When registering, participants must provide their year of birth, chosen distance, and, if they have one, the number of a race bib brought from home. Participants without a race bib will receive a paper bib. Competitors’ names will appear in the start and results lists, and photos and videos taken during the event may be used on the website. Two distances, elevation gain, prizes, age-group categories, unique metal finisher’s medals, online and on-site registration, limited capacity (200 participants).
