GÚTAI VÍZKERESZT MARATON, FÉLMARATON

The Gúta Water Cross Marathon and Half Marathon is a traditional winter running race in Slovakia, in the town of Kolárovo. The race takes place in January, and participants start from the town’s main square, with a cannon shot marking the start. Runners follow a varied route through the streets of the town and surrounding area, where wind and cold weather can also pose a challenge. The event is organized by Maraton Klub Kolárovo - Maraton Klub Gúta, and entry fees must be paid in advance by bank transfer. Participants must be over 18 for the marathon and over 16 for the half marathon.

Registration is by bank transfer only; online registration is not available. Race bibs can be collected on race day between 7:30 and 9:20 at the canteen of Corvin Mátyás Primary School. The total number of participants is limited to 200 for the marathon and half marathon combined. A staggered start from 9:00 is available at the request of slower runners.
