II. Dél-Balatoni Csillagó Trail

The 2nd South Balaton Csillagó Trail is a scenic running race taking place on October 18, 2026, in Kötcse, near the Gutman Wine Cellar. The race follows panoramic routes through the hills of Somogy, around Csillagó Hill, with a range of distances, including a half marathon and a pairs relay. Participants can run among beautiful autumn vineyards, forests, and historic sites, with a unique finisher’s medal and gifts awaiting them at the finish. The Csillagó Trail festival wine glass adds to the event’s atmosphere, giving runners a chance to sample local wines as well as enjoy the race.

The race venue is the Gutman Wine Cellar, which stands on the site of an old brewery and offers beautiful views of Lake Balaton. Race packs include gifts, and participants also receive a Csillagó Trail festival wine glass. Several distances and age-group races are available, including mini and junior races for preschoolers and children aged 7–10, as well as a virtual participation option. Trail running and hiking, wines, cooking in a cauldron, a family-friendly atmosphere, and autumn views of Lake Balaton.
