Írottkő Hegyi Futóverseny

The Írottkő Mountain Run is a unique trail-running event set in the rugged landscapes of the Kőszeg Mountains. Participants can choose from several distances, from a short 7 km introduction to a challenging 102 km ultra that also crosses into Austria. The race follows varied terrain, steep climbs and forest trails, offering runners an unforgettable experience close to nature, with panoramic views. A special feature is the ultra distance, which can be completed as a team and emphasizes shared experience and perseverance.

The race is semi-self-sufficient, so runners need to bring their own equipment, such as a headlamp and a rain jacket. Two refreshment points are available on the 23 km course. The event is environmentally conscious, with a zero-waste program. Accommodation recommendations are available in Kőszeg and the surrounding area.
