Race description
The Keszthely Kilometers is a traditional running race on the shores of Lake Balaton, scheduled to take place on August 22-23, 2026, in the rear park of the Festetics Castle. Participants can choose from several distances, ranging from 3 km to half marathon, in individual and relay categories. Additionally, children's races are available for the youngest participants, with different distances for each age group. The event has a family-friendly atmosphere, and the Balaton lakeside environment offers a unique experience for runners.

Additional information
The race office is located on-site, by Lake Balaton, at the Mole, where bib pickup and on-site registration are also available. A separate registration desk is available for children's races. Participants are advised to arrive in good time due to traffic restrictions and parking difficulties. Children's races are held at different distances for each age group, and the youngest can participate with parental supervision. Results are announced after each race. The event features multiple distances, children's and adult races, relay races, on-site registration, parking and traffic restrictions, and weather-dependent start times.
