Race description
Keszthely Kilometers is a traditional running race on the shores of Lake Balaton, taking place on August 22–23, 2026, in the rear park of Festetics Palace. Participants can choose from several distances, from 3 km to the half marathon, and compete individually or in a relay. There are also children’s races for the youngest runners, with different distances for each age group. The event has a family-friendly atmosphere, and its lakeside setting offers runners a special experience.

Additional information
The race office is on site by Lake Balaton, at the pier, where runners can collect their race numbers and register on the day. A separate registration desk is available for the children’s races. Runners are advised to arrive early because of traffic restrictions and parking difficulties. The children’s races cover different distances by age group, and the youngest participants may run accompanied by a parent. The awards ceremony takes place after the races.
