OXIGÉN KUPA

The Oxygen Cup is a traditional winter running series in Debrecen’s Nagyerdő, offering middle- and long-distance runners and amateur athletes the opportunity to compete. The event aims to promote running and a healthy lifestyle, and encourage people to stay active during winter. The course follows the Nagyerdő’s natural, runner- and joint-friendly terrain, with a variety of distances for several age groups and categories. The series includes both individual and team competitions, strengthening the sense of community among participants.

Participants need to register once per year for the series; there is no separate entry fee for individual races. Teams may have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 members, regardless of gender or age. If a race number is lost or damaged, a replacement can be obtained for a fee of 2,000 HUF. Parking is available in the car park next to the cemetery. Registration is completed once per season; there is no per-race entry fee. A round may be cancelled in the event of dangerous weather or course conditions.
