Race description
The Pécs-Orfű-Abaliget Run is a road half marathon connecting the towns of Pécs, Orfű, and Abaliget, with an elevation gain of 465 meters. The race aims to connect local running communities and promote running among hills and lakes. The event is traditionally held in early June and also offers family-friendly programs, such as a kids' run. Organizers, supported by local communities and the university, welcome runners to enjoy nature and sport together.

Race packet includes a chip bib with a safety pin. On-site registration and race packet pickup will be available on June 7, 2026, from 08:30 to 09:30. A special bus departs from Abaliget to Pécs, with a ticket price of 1500 HUF; advance reservation is required. Participants under 18 need a parental consent form. Parking is limited; public transportation is recommended. Distances: 21 km, 9 km, kids' run, dog-friendly run; refreshment stations, changing rooms, showers, swimming opportunities at Abaliget, lunch after the race, race without a cup.
