Race description
Pusztafutás is a friendly, family-oriented trail running race held every year since 2016 in Solt Szőlőhegy. It offers several distances for runners of all ages, on a varied and exciting route that takes in hilly, interesting terrain rather than the familiar flat plains. Finishers receive a unique, interlocking finisher’s medal, and several facilities are available on site, including parking, a buffet and a playhouse. The race aims to provide an enjoyable experience for all ages and to offer runners a full event experience.
Highlights
- Varied, exciting terrain on the western edge of the Kiskunság
- A marked 580-metre route with minimal elevation change
- Start area at Szőlőhegy, next to Krammer Winery
Additional information
The race will be held only if at least 100 valid entries are received by the end of the first registration period. Entries are accepted from a maximum of 400 runners, including no more than 100 preschool and lower-primary-school-age children. Accompanying parents may not physically assist their child while running and do not need to register separately. The race offers unique, interlocking finisher’s medals, but runners can also register at a lower price without a medal. Parking, toilets, a playhouse, a first-aid point and a buffet are available on site. The race will not be held in 2026 because the number of entries did not reach the minimum set by the organizers.
