Tanúhegyek Trail 7 / 21 / 42

The Tanúhegyek Trail is a trail-running race organized by the Terepfutó Műhely Sports Association in one of the most beautiful parts of the Balaton Uplands National Park, in Badacsonytomaj. Participants can choose from 7, 21, and 42 km distances, taking on 1, 3, or 5 witness hills, with wonderful views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding countryside. The start and finish are at Halászkert. The race also supports a charitable cause: participants can donate their timing chip deposit to the Üröm Animal Shelter. A dog race is also held over the shortest distance. Everyone is warmly welcome at the event on November 14, 2026.

Timing is electronic, using a chip. The chip deposit is 2,000 HUF, which is refundable or can be donated to charity. Unannounced checkpoints may be placed along the course.
