ULTRABALATON

In 2026, the Ultrabalaton will be held for the 20th time. It is Hungary’s most popular mass-participation sporting event. The race is a single-loop running event around Lake Balaton, the longest running race in Central Europe, and can be completed individually or in a team, on foot or by bicycle. The distance is 209 kilometers, open to solo participants and teams of 2–6 people. The event has a friendly, community-focused atmosphere and offers activities that appeal to runners, their supporters, and cyclists alike.

Race office address: 1134 Budapest, Tüzér utca 9-11; opening hours: Monday and Tuesday, 10:00–13:00. #PROJEKT418 support, aid stations, and a split calculator are available to participants in StafétApp. Activities are also available for supporters accompanying runners and for cyclists. The registration deadline is September 27, 2025. The event takes place April 23–26, 2026, with the start on April 25, 2026. Participants can collect their race packs at the event center, and the lap-time calculator is available in the StafétApp app.
