X. Sopron Trail 5 / 10 / 25

The Sopron Trail 2026 trail-running race will take place in the scenic surroundings of Sopron-Brennbergbánya on June 14, 2026. The race aims to promote trail running and showcase the wild landscapes of the Sopron Hills. Participants can choose from several distances, including 5.9 km, 10.7 km and 25.9 km. One of the distances is part of the Alpokalja Trail King running series. The race also offers a special extra challenge: a timed uphill section, with special prizes for the fastest male and female runners. Race headquarters will be at the Brennbergbánya Cultural Centre, which has toilets and showers.

The start and finish are on Brennbergbánya’s main square. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 at the finish. Showers and toilets/WC are available at race headquarters. Cups will not be provided at aid stations for environmental reasons, so runners are advised to bring their own bottle or cup. Registration is through e-nevezés, with a deadline of June 13, 2026, at 12:00. Challenging uphill sections receive special awards; registration is online through the E-nevezés system; the organizers use environmentally friendly solutions.
