FUTABUDA

FUTABUDA is a running race held in the Danube Bend, starting at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Kisoroszi Ferry Port in Dunabogdány. The race offers two distances, 6.1 km and 14 km, with significant elevation changes that challenge runners. Participants who finish receive a unique metal finisher’s medal, and the top finishers receive awards. The race is part of the Ötpróba series, but is an independent event. Registration is available online or by email, and on-site registration is also possible for a higher fee.

When registering, participants must provide their name, year of birth, chosen distance, and any preferred bib number. The chosen distance can still be changed before the start, but only runners who do not change distance during the race will be included in the results. There is no time limit. The race is a non-profit, self-funded event, with a limit of 200 participants. Awards will go to those who break the men’s and women’s course records, the overall 1st–3rd-place finishers, and the 1st–3rd-place finishers in each age group. On-site registration is available for a higher fee. Bibs can be collected at the venue, or after 9:30 a.m. in the case of advance bank transfer.
